I’m Satpal, an engineer and founder. My path has taken me from electrical engineering to language models, computer vision, and robotics. I’ve shipped a robot that picks and cleans dishes, a self-checkout system deployed at Jackson Hole Airport, and billions of Hindi tokens in open source.

In June 2023 I quit my job on the bet that I could indie hack my way to a product. That became Chat Browser, which let you talk to any website, PDF, or YouTube video without leaving the tab. Three months later a San Francisco based startup acquired it.

On the Indic side, I built Gajendra, a Hindi-Hinglish-English model, and Indic Chat, used at Google I/O 2024.

At Lossfunk Residency, I co-founded FPV Labs. We work on infrastructure for capturing, processing, and transferring human experience to robots: Stera for capture, Vidur for labeling.

I’m working toward a world of abundance, where machines take on unique, intelligent physical work, not just the repetitive kind.
